we hungry

HARLEM.

After 2 years and 3 months, I can finally say that I've trekked to and ate at Dinosaur BBQ.  I've been craving to come here because Hill Country stunk especially when it pretends to be from Tejas and also I had a Blackboard Eats coupon (free online).  The sausage had a superb mix of herbs and spices but not too spicy.  We didn't even need to use their two sauces. For three people, two platters w/ four sides and banana coconut pudding was sufficient.  Have you ever been excited about cornbread and especially at a bbq joint?  Well, it was a disappointment here.  The sides were not spectacular, to include the mac and cheese - extremely sad about that.  Maybe it was because it was served a small side and not an appetizer or just got the last scoop of it.  I'm not sure but anyway, next time I'll try their Creole Spiced Deviled Eggs! They also have chicken wings but not sure why someone would order that at a bbq joint.

I would make reservations if you come here for dinner because the wait was "2 and a half hours" when we got here.  But, we waited patiently for a table outside in 50 degree weather because those were first come, first serve.  In terms of outdoor seating, there are about 4-5 picnic tables.  You can also order take out, which is a great idea when the place is packed.  For those who are regulars, apparently this is a new location.  I felt much closer to "home," including that fact that our waitress was very accommodating. When it all comes down to it, resort to the brisket, ribs, and sausage.  Sorry the pictures don't do this place justice, but I'll go back sooner than 2 years na
