we hungry

After dim sum and upon the recommendation of Kym and supported by Thao, a group of us taxied down to this French Patisserie on Sunday, December 13, 2009. According to its website, it makes fresh products with the highest quality of ingredients, free of chemicals and preservatives. That was not my first thought when I nimbly ate on my rose macaron. Madeleine Patisserie offers an assortment of flavors (e.g., rasberry, strawberry, fig, pistachio, lemon, and rose) on a daily basis; however, it does not guarantee timely stock due to popularity. As Thao put it, her macaron was light and airy with a rich and moist-filling taste.
Ambiance.
This was a cozy place to grab a macaron or two and a cup of joe to relax with friends. It felt like there should have been a fireplace. What better place to go to get some cover when there's rain or snow than Madeleine Patisserie.
Location. 132 west 23rd Street between 6 & 7 aves.
