Craving Dessert?? Martha's Country Bakery has anything and everything that you are craving. From cupcakes to cannolis. Martha has it all!!! Everything is baked on location, so you know that its FRESH!

I definitely felt like I was walking into a warm, country bakery. I wanted to try all that Martha had to offer but of course, I couldn't. So, I ordered 2 cupcakes: oreo and red velvet, fruit tart and a tiramisu cake.
They were all delicious. The cupcakes and tiramisu were not too sweet and very light. The cake was moist this time as opposed to the cupcakes that Ting brought me last year. (sorry!! haha) The fruit tart almond crust was delicious (my favorite part!). A nice crunch with the fruit.

Overall, I will definitely be back to Martha's Country Bakery. I have to try them all =)

On the way to Egg, I stumbled upon Cupcakeland! This is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It initially caught my eye because it the store name had "cupcake" and the exterior is all pink! We got the mint chocolate chip cupcake and the lemon raspberry cupcake. The frosting on the "mc" was fair, not overwhelming like Crumbs. However, this particular one did not have consistent cake composition. Lili's lemon raspberry was tangy but in a good way! The sweet and sour taste to the frosting was a great balance with the moist vanilla cake.
I couldn't say that I would have the urge to come back here again unless I'm nearby Williamsburg and happened to be heading towards N. 5th street.

(located in Chelsea Market)

I had the pumpkin cupcake was not succulent because the cake was not moist. For anyone that likes or dislikes raisins, well this cake had raisins in it. Cake moistness is my number one factor. Mind us, we came in about two hours before closing. I had cream cheese in my frosting! Usually I do not like overwhelming frosting but it saved the day. Lili had the german chocolate cupcake, which its frosting included tiny pieces of pecan and coconut infused frosting. The cake was moist also.

This bakery also sells bunch of neat candies and chocolate, which you can stuff in a sack and weigh it.

What’s cool about this place? The last hour prior to closing, its cupcakes and cookies are half-price. Monday through Friday 8-9 pm and Saturdays and Sundays 7-8 pm.

Normal hours: Open Mon-Sat 7am-9pm; Sun 10am-8pm

Mini Cupcakes for the win!!

On a diet and craving for cupcakes? These quarter size cupcakes are just what you need. Every bite size, frosting filled cakes are super moist and full of flavor. With 9 different flavors to choose from, this little bake shop will satisfy that sweet tooth.

I've tried all the flavors and the peanut butter cup is the best. I'd prefer this over a Reese's peanut butter cup any day!

Can't find it? Thats because its a little pick-up window shop located on Spring between Mercer and Broadway. Its connected to a restaurant called Bari.
